How to do it

What it is

New use case : Adding and sorting contacts with Claude on your Mac  Short description : When you enable the Claude extensions “Fileystem” and “Control your Mac”, you can ask Claude to add one or multiple contacts in your OS Contacts App. It can also create lists.  How I used it : I needed to add 26 contacts from a specific organization, so I could email them all and remember who they were. 1. I put all contacts (First name, Last Name, Number) in the Mac Desktop app chat. 2. I asked Claude to add them to my contacts, to differentiate first name and last name, to add the name of the organization they belonged to, and to create a List where they would all be listed. 3. Claude did it. No fuss, no muss.  Amazing Value  : Besides adding contact, this allows Claude to manage your contacts, potentially add information it finds on them in the internet, classify them, do a bulk operation that would take you forever. Essentially, think about anything you’d want to do with your contacts and would take you time. Claude will do it upon prompting it.
